ALLIES SME Strategy – Ideas that Work
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of the Canadian economy. Collectively they will create more jobs and therefore are an essential audience for the work of ALLIES and its partners. To date, most successful initiatives that enable skilled immigrants to access suitable employment have been focused within large organizations with HR departments and policies. SMEs represent uncharted territory. In this panel discussion, small business owners and representatives talk about the challenges and opportunities for SMEs, for skilled immigrants and for communities.
