Political Changemakers
In early September 2007, 90 people attended a networking event, co-hosted by Maytree and Equal Voice’s Toronto chapter, with a decidedly political theme. Three “political changemakers,” MPPs Mary Ann Chambers, Cheri Di Novo and Christine Elliott, spoke about their journeys into politics and addressed what could be done to increase the number of women and visible minorities in the Ontario legislature.
