Bahadur Madhani

Bahadur Madhani is the president and owner of Equiprop Management Ltd., a property management and real estate syndications company. He is currently the Chair of the YMCA of Greater Toronto Board of Trustees, Member, Board of Trustees of YMCA Canada, and a member of the Greater Toronto CivicAction Alliance Steering Committee. He also sits on various Corporate and Advisory Boards, including Chair, Advisory Board of Sun TV, and Board member, Intellipharmacutics Ltd. etc. Always active in the not-for-profit sector, Bahadur was invested as Member of the Order of Canada in 2001 in recognition of his invaluable and selfless contribution to voluntarism in Canada. He is former Chair of the United Way of Greater Toronto, and former Chair of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund Canada. He has served on the Boards of the Toronto 2008 Olympic Bid, the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Toronto Board of Trade, the Royal Ontario Museum, Advisory Board of the Toronto Community Foundation and Ontario Provincial Police Commissioner’s Community Advisory Council. Bahadur has also been active in the political arena at all the three levels of Government irrespective of party affiliations. Bahadur is the recipient of a multitude of community awards in recognition of his untiring efforts to promote pluralism and strengthen civil society.
