Lynn Gran has been working in the nonprofit world for about 20 years now with a focus on the Major Gift field. She worked at Oxfam Canada where she was in charge of Major Gifts, then with World Wildlife Fund Canada as Director of Development. A mother of two, she is involved with her community at the School Council level and was Board President of her local Boys’& Girls’ Club for seven years.

Lynn has been at the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) for over seven years during which time the organization has undergone rapid growth and success. Two years ago Lynn became Vice President of Philanthropy & Marketing taking on responsibility for the marketing, publications, television and web strategy. Having just completed a successful $200 million major gift fundraising campaign, NCC is now in the planning stages for an even more ambitious effort. The Federal Government recently announced a $225 million matching investment into the work of NCC, and Lynn is currently leading a branding/marketing review for the organization that will help prepare them for this large campaign that will engage more Canadians and grow NCC’s profile.
