Community Action in Saint John: Making a Difference in the Lives of Young People

Efforts to provide support for teenage mothers led to the creation of several youth-centred programs and services in the City of Saint John.  This story profiles the efforts of the Business Community Anti-Poverty Initiative and several other community organizations involved in this work.  As the Saint John convenor organization for Vibrant Communities, BCAPI is helping to strengthen partnerships among community groups, government and business in order to ensure the continued success of these and other poverty reduction initiatives.

This story is the fourth in a series which highlights the efforts of local partners involved in Vibrant Communities – a pan-Canadian initiative that seeks local solutions to reduce poverty and build more caring communities.
