Update: Vibrant Communities Calgary’s Living Wage Campaign

In 2003, members of Vibrant Communities Calgary began meeting with representatives from business, nonprofit organizations and the public sector to build support for a Living Wage campaign. They also encouraged the development of a municipal Sustainable Ethical Environmental Purchasing Policy and broadened the discussion about wages to include other exemplary employment practices.
