Canada’s new Anti-Spam law will come into effect on July 1, 2014. It has wide reaching impact beyond what one might consider traditional “spam.” It contains basic prohibitions against many types of email and other electronic communications sent by businesses and not-for-profit organizations that used to be permitted.
