Liz is the Director, Weaverworks Consulting, where she draws on her experience in collaborative governance and collective leadership. She was the former Co-CEO of the Tamarack Institute and led the Tamarack Learning Centre providing strategic direction for the design and development of learning resources and tools for collaborative leaders. The focus of the Tamarack Learning Centre is to work with community leaders to co-generate knowledge and become a collective force for social change. Liz has developed and delivered curriculum on a variety of workshop topics including collaborative governance, leadership, collective impact, community innovation, influencing policy change, and social media for impact and engagement.

Liz partnered with others to develop The Collaborative Organization, a relevant resource for any organization engaged in collaborative processes.  Most recently, in partnership with the Tamarack Institute, she published The Human Side of Workplace Transitions, a guide designed to provide support to individuals navigating transitions and change in their workplaces and lives. 

In her career, she was the Director for the Hamilton Roundtable on Poverty Reduction, which was recognized with the Canadian Urban Institute’s Leadership Award in 2009. She has held leadership positions with YWCA Hamilton, Volunteer Hamilton, and Volunteer Canada. Liz has a Master of Management through McGill University.
