The road to the right to housing in Canada
Published on October 18, 2019
The right to adequate housing is a fundamental human right that lies at the heart of human dignity, and is key to the realization of other rights. Housing must be prioritized – and coordinated – by the federal government, all provinces, and municipalities.
Featuring Emily Paradis, Maytree Fellow, Janice Arsenault, Charter Challenge Applicant, Mike Creek, Right to Housing Coalition, and Stefania Seccia, Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness, the webinar explains where we’ve been and where we need to go in housing in this country.
