Originally conceived as a secondary school which would attend to the needs of Aboriginal teens unable to succeed in mainstream schools, Joe Duquette faculty and staff now offer high-quality secondary education based on central tenets of Aboriginal spirituality. Community members on the school’s council sustain the school’s vision, providing guidance and advice on curricular and spiritual issues.
