Zabeen is a strategic advisor and speaker across all sectors, as a thought-leader in leadership, culture, purpose, AI and work, skills, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Zabeen had a distinguished career at RBC, culminating as Chief Human Resources Officer until her retirement in 2017. In addition to overseeing 80,000 employees, she held responsibility for Corporate Citizenship / social impact. Now in her Purposeful Third Act, she strives to create impact by activating her inspiring purpose – “to unlock human potential and build inclusive prosperity.”

Current roles include Executive Advisor Future of Work at Deloitte and Advisor to Knockri, an AI-enabled tool that improves workforce diversity and recruitment efficiency and executive advisor to the H. R. Professional Association. She is Special Advisor to the Clerk of the Privy Council, on the Mayor of Toronto’s Action team in response to geo-political issues, and Executive-in-Residence at Simon Fraser University Beedie School of Business. Recognized as a community leader, Zabeen serves on the board of the Public Policy Forum, Junior Achievement Worldwide, and Canadian Club Toronto. She is a former Chair of Civic Action and has served on numerous non-profit boards over the years.
